• OVERVIEW

  This project can be considered in three sections.

  Initially the ground conditions across the site were improved by the design, procurement and management of vibro-compaction works thus enabling the construction of strip foundations to support a large industrial portal framed building. Inside the building, overhead travelling cranes and vehicle inspection pits were designed and detailed for the servicing of commercial vehicles.

  Works were also carried out to an existing single storey concrete framed building which entailed the design and detailing of an additional steel framed first floor and roof extension.
