• OVERVIEW

  Full demolition of existing single story structure and new build construction of two story retail accommodation with ancillary storage on a restricted site in the centre of Billericay, Essex. The structural design solution needed to take account of the site restrictions and as a result the solution entailed providing support to the existing pub as well as designing eccentrically loaded foundations to support the new development. Further consideration of site constraints resulted in a new build structural solution consisting of a steel frame with modular precast concrete floors and roof panels with external masonry cladding.
