• OVERVIEW

  The scheme was developed in reaction to the Client's requirement to ustilise a number of his unused outbuildings thus creating a centre for arts and crafts. The scheme included introducing mezzanine floors within the existing barns and also the introduction of new steel frame structures. Due to the age and condition of the barns, detailed structural analysis was undertaken to ensure that the final design solution was developed without the need for extensive and intrusive strengthening works.
